October 17, 2016

STOCKHOLM and KARLSRUHE, October 17, 2016 – Stadler, a global leader in rail vehicle construction solutions invests in Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform powering CATIA V6 and ENOVIA V6 and proprietary software from TechniaTranscat, delivered by TechniaTranscat, a subsidiary of Addnode Group. The investment in 3DEXPERIENCE allows Stadler to continue it´s global expansion while significantly improving engineering efficiency and ability to support unique customer request for advanced system solution within rail vehicle construction solutions.

The investment in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which after full deployment includes more than 2000 CATIA V6 and ENOVIA users, ensure that Stadler will get access to the latest and most innovative product development technologies.

Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform enables product development in record speed across the entire organization. The user friendliness helps Stadler to speed up the development on a single platform to ensure customer satisfaction. Also time spending on looking for information, understanding the product and decision making is reduced dramatically. The ability to design a complete rail vehicle system with all engineering domains including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and software will significantly reduce lead-times, improve quality and safety.

  • “We have chosen the 3DEXPERIENCE platform because of its user-friendliness and we expect a significant increase in performance for our engineering combined with process benefits throughout our complete Product Lifecycle. More over we rely on TechniaTranscat as our Partner to deploy and integrate the platform”, says Roland Reichlin, Project Leader PLM 2.0 Stadler.
  • Stadler is a challenger in their industry and have an impressive track record in growth and innovative rail vehicle systems. This partnership will facilitate continued and accelerated growth while maintaining their market leading flexibility and reliability.
